Why gym equipment is a two-person problem
A residential treadmill runs 200–300 pounds with a motor at one end, and cable machines hide weight stacks inside. This is squarely 'let a crew do it' territory — awkward geometry, real weight, and staircases don't mix with goodwill and a buddy. Photograph the machine and its exit path, and it's quoted realistically.
Disassembly, folding, and tight turns
Note in your request whether the machine folds, and whether it arrived assembled or was built in the room. Crews can break down most consumer equipment when a corner demands it. Free weights should be photographed as a set — plates are priced by the pound at disposal, so total poundage matters.
Working equipment might deserve a second life
Functioning treadmills and bikes are among the more donation-viable junk categories. If it powers on and runs, say so — community centers and charities sometimes take working fitness equipment, and we look for that routing when flagged. Broken machines route to scrap and disposal, motors recycled where possible.
