Cleanouts · Dallas–Fort Worth

Crawl space cleanouts.

Crawl spaces hide leftover pipe, lumber, and boxes nobody remembers storing. If a person can reach it, photograph it and we'll coordinate getting it out.

If it fits through the access hatch, it can leave through the access hatch.

What counts as accessible?

Crews can clear items reachable through a standard access hatch or exterior vent door with reasonable clearance. Photograph the access point with something for scale, and shoot into the space with a flashlight so the load is visible. Items buried behind plumbing or requiring excavation are outside a junk pickup's scope.

Common crawl space loads in North Texas

Builders and past owners leave surprising things under DFW homes: cut lumber, spare tile, old ductwork, and bags of who-knows-what. Most of it comes out as ordinary construction debris. If items have been soaking in a damp crawl space, mention it — waterlogged material is heavier and priced accordingly.

Health and safety flags to disclose

Note any evidence of animals, standing water, or exposed wiring in your request. Crews working confined spaces need to know conditions before they crawl in. If the space shows signs of asbestos-era materials like old pipe wrap, stop and flag it — that requires licensed abatement, not junk removal.

Questions

Asked before every pickup.

Will a crew go fully under the house?

Only if conditions are disclosed and the crew accepts the access. Honest photos of the hatch and interior are what make that match possible.

Can old vapor barrier be removed?

Torn plastic sheeting can usually be bagged and hauled as debris. Include it in the photos so it's in the quote.

What if I can't photograph inside?

Shoot the access point and describe what you know is down there. The quote may carry an on-site confirmation step in that case.
