Fire-damaged item removal.
After a fire, the damaged contents are a daily reminder standing between you and rebuilding. When cleared to proceed, photograph the loss and we coordinate removal.
Recovery starts the day the burned things stop being the first thing you see.
Clearance comes before removal
Nothing leaves a fire scene until the fire marshal, your insurer, and any investigation are done with it — moving contents early can genuinely complicate a claim. Once you have written or confirmed clearance, photograph the affected rooms and contents, note the clearance in your request, and removal is coordinated from there.
Smoke damage reaches further than flame
Fires total more by smoke than by burning: soot penetrates upholstery, mattresses, and open shelving rooms away from the flame. Your restoration company or adjuster typically determines what's salvageable through cleaning versus what's a loss. The loss list becomes the removal list — photograph it room by room.
The honest condition of a fire load
Burned material is fragile, filthy, and sometimes sharp — charred furniture crumbles, glass hides in debris, and everything transfers soot. This is disclosed-condition hauling: crews arrive expecting it when the photos show it. Structural demolition of the building itself is restoration-contractor work, separate from contents removal.
Four steps. No guesswork.

Items removed
The crew completes pickup and confirms the space is cleared.
Asked before every pickup.
How soon after a fire can this happen?
As soon as the scene is released and your insurer confirms contents can go. That timing belongs to the officials and adjuster, not the hauling schedule.
Do you remove burned structural debris?
Contents and loose debris, yes. Burned framing, roofing, and structure tear-out belong to licensed restoration and demo contractors.
Can salvageable items be moved instead?
Crews haul away; moving keepers to storage is a moving-company task. Separate the piles clearly before pickup day.
While the crew is there.
Bundled requests quote more efficiently than separate pickups — photograph everything that needs to go and it becomes one job.
