Mattress pickup & disposal.
Old mattresses are awkward, heavy, and unwelcome at the curb. Photograph the mattress and the stairs, and we coordinate a crew to carry it out properly.
A mattress is the one piece of junk you can't fold, stack, or hide. It just has to go.
Why mattresses are a disposal headache
Most DFW landfills and transfer stations handle mattresses separately, some charge per-unit fees, and a queen won't fit in any sedan. Bulk-trash rules vary by city and some require wrapping. A coordinated pickup skips all of it: the mattress leaves your bedroom and the routing is handled downstream.
Recycling and donation options
A mattress is mostly steel, foam, and wood — much of it recyclable where facilities exist. Clean, stain-free mattresses in good condition can sometimes be routed to donation partners, though many charities no longer accept used mattresses. Flag condition honestly in your photos and we'll route toward the best available option.
What to include in your request
The size (twin through king), whether the box spring and frame go too, which floor the bedroom is on, and a shot of the staircase or elevator. Adjustable bases deserve a photo of their own — the motorized frames are heavier than they look and quote differently than a simple rail frame.
Four steps. No guesswork.

Asked before every pickup.
Can bed bugs or heavy staining be handled?
Disclose it — infested or biohazard-stained mattresses must be sealed and routed straight to disposal, never donation, and the crew needs to arrive with wrap.
Do you take just a box spring?
Yes, single items are normal requests. Bundling other junk into the same pickup usually makes the quote more efficient though.
Does the whole bed set cost more than the mattress alone?
A full set takes more truck space so it quotes higher than one piece, but one combined pickup beats two separate ones.
While the crew is there.
Bundled requests quote more efficiently than separate pickups — photograph everything that needs to go and it becomes one job.
